Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan Triumph in 'The Celebrity Traitors' Season 2 Finale

In a thrilling finale to the second season of 'The Celebrity Traitors', Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan emerged victorious, securing their spots as the winners of the highly anticipated reality show ¹. The pair triumphed over other notable contestants such as King Kenny and Maya Jama, who were ultimately eliminated from the game ¹.

The season finale, which aired on October 30, 2026, saw a total of 15 million viewers tuning in to witness the drama unfold ¹². Despite the high viewership, the second season was generally considered less captivating than its predecessor, with many viewers expressing a preference for the inaugural season ¹.

James Acaster, a member of the Traitors group, made headlines by admitting to being a secret Traitor at the Round Table, a move that garnered both praise and criticism from fellow contestants and viewers alike ¹³. Meanwhile, Michael Sheen managed to correctly identify Maya Jama and King Kenny as potential threats, although Acaster’s revelation redirected attention away from them ³.

Romesh Ranganathan was seen as the frontrunner to win the second series, with Maya Jama heavily favored to be the next contestant to face elimination ². However, it was James Blunt, a member of the Faithful group, who was predicted to be the seventh and final murder victim, a title he narrowly avoided ².

Claudia Winkleman, known for her charm and wit, hosted the eventful evening, guiding viewers through the twists and turns of the final night ². The show’s format, which divides contestants into Faithfuls and Traitors, added an extra layer of intrigue and suspense to the proceedings ².

In addition to the British audience, viewers from around the world, including the United States, Canada, and Australia, were able to enjoy the finale, with respective streaming services like Peacock, Crave, and 10Play providing access to the exciting conclusion ³.

The final included seven main participants: James Blunt, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Romesh Ranganathan, and Sebastian Croft. Among these, several contestants, such as James Acaster and Richard E. Grant, were previously eliminated from the Traitors group ³.

Hannah Fry and Richard E. Grant were also among those who were banished from the Traitors group earlier in the season, adding to the complexity of the final round ³.
