Inde Navarrette took the stage as the host of 'Saturday Night Live' on October 31, 2026, marking her first appearance as a host on the long-running sketch comedy show. ¹²³⁴⁵ The event was particularly notable as it coincided with her first performance as a host, and she made a memorable entrance by making light of her preparation for her role as Rogue in the upcoming Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot. ¹

Navarrette's debut was not without its share of references to past controversies. During her opening monologue, she quipped about Shane Gillis's earlier sexist comment, which had caused a stir during a previous episode of 'SNL'. ¹²³ This playful jab added a layer of intrigue to her hosting gig, showcasing both her comedic timing and her ability to engage with the show's history.

The evening's festivities were further enhanced by the musical guest debut of Gracie Abrams, who performed alongside Navarrette. ¹²⁴ The pair's chemistry was evident, creating a harmonious atmosphere for the night's events. Additionally, the cast of 'SNL' brought their usual flair to the table, with Marcello Hernandez appearing as a sexy TSA agent, Kam Patterson portraying Elizabeth Holmes, and Jeremy Culhane dressing up as Wolverine. ¹

In one of the standout sketches, Navarrette and Hernandez played ghosts from the 1930s on the Queen Mary, adding a touch of whimsy and historical charm to the show. ¹ Another highlight was the Delta commercial parody, featuring 'Delta Disruptive', a humorous take on the airline's policies for passengers deemed disruptive. ¹

Navarrette also showcased her versatility by impersonating a social media personality who claimed she wasn't real, and playing Dane, a contestant on The Uninterested Woman Dating Show. ¹ In the Inventor sketch, she portrayed a widow discovering her late husband's inventions, with one invention, the robot PD-44, being revealed to mean 'Penis Destroyer'. ¹

Adding a personal touch to the evening, Navarrette referenced her role in 'Obsession', a film that grossed over $522 million worldwide, setting several records. She also mentioned that her boyfriend, Nick Aiello, was in the audience, though he was seen gagged to a chair, perhaps adding a bit of drama to the proceedings. ²³

The broadcast of 'Saturday Night Live' took place on NBC, with DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling TV offering online streaming options for viewers. ⁴ Among these, Hulu + Live TV provides access to over 100 live channels, including NBC, for $89.99 per month. ⁴
